The same app

The shell opens app.darkroute.exchange. Quote, one-time deposit address, order tracking, rewards: identical pages, identical rules, no second codebase to trust.

An order or pay link from a receipt opens in the app instead of the browser, once Android has verified the site's assetlinks file against this build's certificate.

Nothing native holds a key

No wallet inside the app, no seed, no signing. Deposits go from your own wallet or exchange to the address on the order page.

Install · two minutes

Until the Play listing is live, the APK is the release.

    Tap the button. 3.4 MB, signed by the same certificate every release will use.

    Allow this install

    Android asks you to allow installs from your browser for this one file. That is the normal path for an app outside the Play Store.

    Check the hash if you want

    Settings, Apps, DarkRoute shows the version. The file's sha256 is printed on this page; any file manager with a checksum tool can compare it.

    Open it

    The swap card loads from the router. If the connection is down you get one offline page and a retry button, nothing else.

Not on the Play Store yet

The listing is being prepared. Until it is live, this APK is the release, the same way the extension zip was before its store review.

Send with wallet is limited

Inside the app there is no browser wallet to hand the exact amount to. Use the address and amount on the order page, or open the pay link in a browser that has your wallet.

No tracking

One permission: internet. No analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising id. The app talks to app.darkroute.exchange and nothing else.

Before you install

Questions, answered in plain words.

Why an APK and not the store?

Because the store review takes days and the build is done now. The Play listing is in preparation; when it goes live the button on this page changes and this APK keeps working.

Is this safe to install?

It is a signed build of a WebView shell around the public app. The certificate fingerprint is printed on this page and served at app.darkroute.exchange/.well-known/assetlinks.json; a modified APK cannot carry it.

iPhone?

Later. iOS builds need an Apple developer account and a store review that is stricter about crypto. The web app already installs to the home screen from Safari.
